Summer Camp 2024 - Grade 2 • Register • View Cart •

Summer Camp will be here before you know it.  Join us for tons of fun including outdoor games, hikes and nature, arts and crafts, silly science, wacky theme days and awesome weekly special events.  You never know what great experiences each new day will bring!

PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE GRADE YOUR CHILD WILL BE ENTERING FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR!

Dates: 7 weeks starting July 1st (There will be no camp on July 4th & 5th)

Time: 9:00am-3:00pm

Fee: $170 per week for residents / $185 per week for non-resident (except for week 1)

All campers must have an updated medical form and current physical on file prior to the first day of camp.

Registration will happen on-line or over the phone only - no in person registration will be accepted this year!!

Weekly Themes
  • July 1st-3rd: Home Sweet Home - Spend the week celebrating all that's good about our neck of the woods! Explore our many trails and collect material to transform into works of art, listen to local tales and explore music & history that makes Philipstown unique and end the week celebrating with a 4th of July BBQ and bounce house on Wednesday!
  • July 8th - 12th: Ship-Rec Island - Ahoy, Mateys! Set sail for adventure and take part in our interactive journey on the high seas. Start by joining a crew and building your team's pirate ship, and spend the week looking for treasure! Find missing pieces of the map, have your crewmates walk the plank, take part in our scurviest pirate costume contest and test your hand at swashbuckling before the final ship battle to see which crew rules the seas. With a visit from the Bubble Bus!!
  • July 15th - 19th: Camp-etition - Which team will prevail in our week of competition? There’s something for everyone: sports, trivia blasts and an assortment of wacky events designed to keep everyone laughing and having fun. Find out which team takes first place and celebrate at our week-ending Taco Fiesta and inflatable fun!
  • July 22nd - 26th: Back to the Future - Come with us on a trip through time! Each day we will step back in time to visit days long past and maybe even peek into the future through crafts, fun games and challenges. We might even learn a little history along the way! Ending the week with an Ice Cream Truck treat!
  • July 29th - August 2nd: Game On! - We've all heard the phrase "You've got to be in it to win it!". Here's your chance to get in the game! Each day will put you in a life-size version of popular board & video games and game shows. We will end the week with a Life-Size climbing wall!
  • August 5th - 9th: Wizard World - Ever dream of attending a certain school of Witchcraft and Wizardry? This may be as close as you get! We’ll join our houses, make potions, search for fantastic beasts and sample some magical treats and maybe even a quest before awarding the House Cup at week’s end! We will also have a visit from MAD SCIENCE!
  • August 12th - 16th: Camporee! - Join us to send the season off in style as we make some classic summer memories: Join the Color Run, tie dye a t-shirt, roast marshmallows and end the summer with a summer carnival, BBQ and a water balloon bash!
  • Reminder: This age group does not go on trips.
