What separates yoga from “exercising” is the focus on integrating the body and mind. Regular practice develops heightened physical and mental awareness, brings about beneficial changes to our bodies and helps create a sense of well-being. It allows us to shift away from unhealthy patterns and habits and helps to prevent future problems as well. Walk-ins are welcome at a $14 fee per class if minimum registration is met to run the class. Kathy’s class emphasizes proper alignment of the body, building strength and flexibility of the muscles and joints, and the integration of the healing powers of the breath.
