Teen Workshops

Workshops for grades 6-9.

A few things to know:




  1. Class sizes are limited so your teen can get the most out of each experience.


  2. All class zoom links will be emailed out 24 hours prior to each workshop.


  3. There will be two recreation department staff members on every zoom.


  4. Any workshop with an asterisk includes a pre-packaged material box. Materials will be available for a contact-less pickup before the workshop begins.  Information will follow once you are registered.


  5. Get $5 off every workshop after the first two.




Wednesday, July 22nd: TEEN PAINT*
Join us to do 3 projects including a watercolor resist project, poured paint canvas and glow in the dark art.

Thursday, July 23rd: TEEN CHEFS: Breakfast
A food shopping list will be provided no less than 48 hours before the workshop.

Wednesday July 29th: TEEN T-SHIRT DESIGNS*
3 shirts: Tie-dye with cool-aid, bead tie shirt, and crayon transfer. T-shirt size required no later than 3 days ahead of class.
 
Thursday July 30th: TEEN CHEFS: Appetizers 
A food shopping list will be provided no less than 48 hours before the workshop.

Wednesday, August 5th: TEEN ART: Room Makeover*
Three projects to enhance the vibe of your room! Chinese lantern, bandanna pillow and DIY picture frame.

Thursday, August 6th: TEEN ART: DIY Spa*
Relax and enjoy three DIY spa projects - Bath bombs, lip gloss and face masks!

Wednesday, August 12th: TEEN ART: Jewelry*
Make your own dream catcher necklace, shrinky dink rings and woven bead bracelets. 

Thursday, August 13th: TEEN CHEFS: DESSERTS
A food shopping list will be provided no less than 48 hours before the workshop.
