We are thrilled to announce that Fay Gerbes Pacht will now be instructing the workshop.

We invite young actors to a four-hour intensive workshop. Fay will direct you to
turn the text on the page into your words. You’ll explore the hidden meaning of subtext and the importance of objectives. Actors will have the opportunity to try out monologues and step into scenes from the classics to the modern language of contemporary writers. We’ll dive into the intensity of dramatic tension, tackle the challenges of comic timing, and show you how to bring the magical truth of make-believe to life.

Fay Gerbes Pacht:
Fay has performed, directed, musically directed, and designed for theatres and companies in Boston, New York City, and regionally. She has directed several Depot Youth productions in the past, like Charlotte’s Web, The Birds, The Baker Street Irregulars, and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court.
