A twist on the classic tale, Little Red Riding Hood.
As Lil’y Red rides through her neighborhood, bringing chicken soup to her sick Granny, she discovers that the town is all a buzz about a new family moving in- The Wolves! Everyone from Goldilocks and Baby Bear, Hansel and Gretel, Bo Peep, the little pigs, even Old farmer MacDonald share their feelings about the new people moving to town.
With lots of lively characters and costumes, this play is fun and entertaining, while also touching on some real life issues with a whimsical modern twist, of course!
Kalista Sale Parrish started working professionally as an actor at a very early age and has spent a lifetime in theater, television, and film. After an apprenticeship at Irondale Ensemble Project she studied theater at NYU’s Experimental Theatre Wing and screenwriting at The New School. She currently directs, writes, teaches and performs throughout the Hudson Valley. She lives in Cold Spring, NY, with her musician husband and dog, Buddy, who is lousy at coming up with good endings for her scripts.
