This program is for children entering kindergarten in September. Campers will have their own dedicated space in the building but will also be able to take advantage of our many special instructors. Daily activities may include free play, water play, arts & crafts, music, dress-up, gym time, playground play, outdoor games and nature exploration. Each week we will also incorporate special events and activities related to the themes outlined below. Maximum enrollment of 16 children per week. Each child must bring a bagged lunch labeled with his/her name and a separate labeled snack.
June 27-28 & July 1-3: TALES FROM THE TOYBOX
Ever wondered what happens to your toys when you’re not around? Campers will create their own versions of classic toys, including Mr. Potato Head, piggy banks, and Slinky. We will play cowboys, become astronauts and laugh like a barrel of monkeys. Who knows, the toys may even take on a life of their own! We’ll end the week with a holiday bbq!
JULY 8-12: NATURE EXPLORERS
Come join us as we explore the natural world around us. Hike the trails around the Community Center, create beautiful works of art and learn about our feathered, finned and furry friends who live in our own backyard!
JULY 15-19: SUPERHERO ACADEMY
What’s your super power? Can you save the day? We’ll get to know some of our favorite superheroes. Ready your capes and straighten your masks- adventure awaits!
JULY 22-26: AROUND THE WORLD
Five countries in five days! Bring your imagination and we will travel. We’ll make crafts and eat snacks from the places we discover as we explore the world.
JULY 29-AUGUST 2: PIRATES AHOY!
Ahoy there mateys! Come for a swashbucklin’ week of treasure hunting. We will make treasure maps and create our own adventures!
AUGUST 5-9: MAGICAL WORLD
Explore the world of fairies, wizards and other magical creatures. We’ll whip up a potion or two and see if we can discover any magical creatures in our own backyard!
WEEK 7: AUGUST 12-16: CAMPOREE
Join us to send the season off in style as we make some classic summer memories: enjoy a nature scavenger hunt, make a tie dyed shirt, have a campfire singalong and end the summer at our season's end barbecue and carnival!
